More stores require face coverings to shop

CVSHOLT, Fla., July 17, 2020—More national retail stores are requiring face coverings to shop locally according to corporate news releases.

CVS and Walgreens, as well as Target and Kohl’s are now requiring face covering when shopping in the store effective Monday.

Best Buy started requiring customers to wear face masks Wednesday, according to a news release on Tuesday, and will provide a mask if needed.

CVS and Walgreens made the announcement yesterday.

Kohl’s made its announcement Wednesday shortly after Walmart and Sam’s Club announced masks were required in their stores.

At most shopping locales, stores will have new and additional signage on exterior doors as well as more and often intercom announcement reminders.

Some stores will have door greeters to catch shoppers as they enter.

CVS, Walgreens and Target joins Walmart, Sam’s Club and Publix in requiring face coverings while shopping.

Additionally, Starbucks began requiring face coverings Wednesday at all company-owned locations.
