North county virus cases increase

HOLT, Fla., July 26, 2020—Most areas in north Okaloosa County increased their positive virus totals with today’s state health department update.

Holt, Baker and Laurel Hill each added one more case to their totals bringing them to 16, 45 and 2 respectively.

Milligan remained the same at two total cases.

Crestview increased by 38, its highest single-day positive case count to date, for a total of 482.

  1. We have had 2 (two) EMS helicopters land on log lake road this past week but haven’t seen anything about either here?

  2. Information about one of the EMS helicopter missions was shared on the Holt Enterprise News Facebook page from the Holt Fire District FB page. The HIPPA law prevents details about patients and their conditions without prior consent and without details, the story wold have been, “An EMS helicopter landed at the Log Lake Road airport to transport an unconscious Holt resident to the hospital (in this case the FWB Medical Center).
