HOLT, Fla., Aug. 9, 2020—Holt added two more positive virus cases with today’s health department update.
Holt now has a total of 22 COVID-19 cases.
The other north county communities, with the exception of Crestview, remained the same. Crestview increased its total by 14, passing the 700-case mark.
In neighboring Santa Rosa County, Pace is nearing the 300 virus mark; Jay hit 100 today. Milton has more than 2,000 cases.
Escambia County is moving toward 10,000 cases, consistently adding more than 100 cases a day. Walton County just passed 1,400 total cases.
The United States leads the world in the number of virus cases, passing a grim milestone of 5 million cases, with Florida contributing more than 532,800 to the total.
