HOLT, Fla., Nov. 9, 2020—An early morning interstate crash resulted in a fatality and road closure snarling traffic for hours.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10.

As a result, the eastbound lanes have been closed since the accident occurred while an investigation into the crash is conducted.

Interstate traffic is being diverted at exit 45 through Holt to U.S. 90 east.

Traffic on Hwy 90 eastbound is backed up around Galliver Cutoff toward Crestview.

Interstate traffic is backed up beginning at mile marker 38.

There is no information about when the interstate will reopen.
