HOLT, Fla., Jan. 16, 2021–Holt Fire District responded to a brush fire just after 2 p.m. here today.

Three acres on Poplar Head Church Road were scorched after a resident who was burning brush allowed the fire to get out of control due to windy conditions.

No one was injured during the fire.

Holt Fire wants to remind people not to burn brush or trash during windy days.
