Beginning Monday, eligibility opens up for residents 40 and older with all adults eligible to receive the vaccine beginning April 5.

So far, more than 3.5 million seniors 65 and older have received the shot—more than 70 percent of the approximately 4.4 million seniors living in the state—according to the governor.
In addition to state public health locations, more than 1,600 Florida pharmacies offer vaccines including Publix, CVS, Walmart, Sam’s Club and Winn Dixie. Walgreens will soon be offering the vaccine, said DeSantis.
