Kimmons was arrested in 2020 and 2019 for drugs and in 2019 for destroying evidence and smuggling contraband in to a detention facility.

Simmons was arrested in May for failure to appear. He was also arrested in April for drugs and in December 2020 for probation violation for assault and resisting arrest. In June 2020, he was arrested for simple assault/threat to do violence (domestic), resisting arrest and parole violation from Henry County for drugs and battery.
