CRESTVIEW, Fla., Sept. 5, 2021—The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a flood warning for the Shoal River in Crestview.

Minor flooding is forecast.

The warning is for tomorrow evening through Saturday morning.

At 9:15 a.m., the stage was at 6.2 feet. Flood stage is 8 feet.

The Shoal River is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 8.7 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday evening.

At 8.5 feet, Shoal River water south of Interstate 10 will rise into yards on Sowell Road.
