
HOLT, Fla., Jan. 18, 2022—Areas to the north and west have a potential for a wintry weather event late Thursday into Friday morning as a cold front passes through the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Mobile, a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and ice pellets is possible, although it is trending more toward a freezing rain event.
Light accumulations are expected in the areas to the north and west of Interstate 65 in Alabama.

For this area, there’s a 40 percent chance of rain beginning tomorrow night with chances increasing to 80 percent Thursday. Rains continue into Friday.
Lows Thursday night drop into the mid 30s. Temps drop to 32 Friday night, then plunge to 28 degrees Saturday under partly cloudy skies.
