
HOLT, Fla., Sept. 10, 2022—A Holt man was airlifted to Fort Walton Beach last night after suffering a snakebite yesterday evening.
It is unknown the type of snake involved. He was bitten on his leg.
The man was conscious at the time Holt Fire District and Okaloosa County EMS responded to the emergency around 6:45 p.m. and complained of tingling and numbness down his leg.

Okaloosa MedFlight landed at the Bone Creek Recreational Area Parking lot about five minutes before EMS arrived with the patient.
By 7:30 p.m., he was on his way to the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment.
It is not known what his current condition is at this time.
