HOLT, Fla., Jan. 18, 2023—Two people were injured in a head-on traffic accident on U.S. Highway 90 in Holt this morning.

A Pace woman, 36, was traveling east on Hwy 90 just east of Durbin Lane and the A.C. Columbia plant around 6 a.m. when her sedan traveled across the centerline of the highway into the westbound lane of traffic, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

Her car was hit head-on by a Dodge work van traveling westbound.

The woman was listed in critical condition while the 53-year-old male Crestview driver of the van was reported to have suffered minor injuries, according to the release.

The highway was shut down in both directions for more than an hour as FHP investigated the accident.
