HOLT, Fla., May 9, 2026—Two cars collided on Interstate 10 westbound near mile marker 48 this morning around 10:30 a.m.

No one was injured in the accident.

According to initial reports, the first motorists slammed on the brakes due to debris on the roadway. The car behind rear-ended the car in front.

The inside lane of I-10 was closed while Holt Fire District and Florida Highway Police responded to the accident.

All lanes reopened after vehicles and debris were removed from the roadway.
