HOLT, Fla., July 9, 2026—A man was arrested in Holt after numerous reports of him exposing himself along a roadway in public here yesterday afternoon.

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputy responding to the calls found Xavier Stachowiak, 31, lying on the ground committing a lewd act in the area of Third Avenue near Johnson Street around 12:30 p.m., according to an OCSO news release.

Stachowiak was immediately arrested. However, he refused commands, resisted and attempted to strike a deputy with his elbow as well as spit at the deputies which required the use of an anti-spit mask, according to the release.

Stachowiak was charged with three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of resisting an officer with violence, two counts of exposure of sexual organs and disorderly intoxication.

He was taken to the Okaloosa County Jail.
