HOLT, Fla., July 26, 2026—A heat advisory will be in effect tomorrow followed by an extreme heat watch Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, dangerously high temperatures are expected to be at or at least tie record highs for the area.

A heat advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow. Temperatures here are forecast to reach 99 degrees with a heat index as high as 109.

There’s also a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m., but it will provide little overnight relief from the heat with lows only dipping down to 78 degrees tomorrow night.

On Tuesday, the area will be under an extreme heat watch from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees with a heat index of 112 degrees. Like tomorrow night, lows will only be around 79 degrees. 

The lows both nights will be 5 to 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Winds will be calm to 5 mph both days providing little relief from the daytime heat.

According to the NWS, an additional heat advisory will likely be issued for Wednesday. Wednesday’s highs are forecast to be around 99 degrees with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms after 1 p.m.

Rain chances increase for the weekend with a 60 percent chance Saturday and an 80 percent chance Sunday.
