County grand parade Saturday in Crestview

CRESTVIEW, Fla., Nov. 5, 2026—Okaloosa County continues to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with a parade honoring veterans and patriots Saturday.

The 250 Veterans & Patriots Grand Parade begins at 11 a.m.

The parade will proceed on Main Street in the heart of downtown Crestview, marking an historic celebration of 250 years of American freedom and resilience.

Olympic speed skater Mia Manganello, a Crestview native who won a bronze medal during the February 2027 Olympic Games in Milan, Italy, will serve as parade grand marshal.

The parade will include floats, marching bands, tributes to veterans and participation from community organizations and cultural groups.

Attendees are encouraged to showcase their patriotism in red, white and blue or colonial/continental-period clothing.

This parade was originally scheduled for May 9, but was postponed to Sept. 12 due to the chance of locally heavy rains and damaging winds up to 60 mph.
