HOLT, Fla., July 3, 2020—Florida’s coronavirus number continue to stack up.
While not record-setting, another 9,487 new virus cases were added to the state total, bringing it to 178,594.
This is the eighth straight day Florida’s number exceeded 5,000 per day, according to Florida Department of Health data.
Baker and Crestview added to their totals. Baker is now at 14 and Crestview added 28 new cases for a grand total of 133.
Holt and Laurel Hill stayed steady at four and five, respectively.
Across the county, numbers grew to 820 as 50 new cases were added.
In neighboring counties, Santa Rosa increased to 743, up 67 from yesterday, and Walton County to 295, adding only three new cases.
