Antioch Road closes next week

Antioch Road will close next week while Florida, Gulf & Atlantic Railroad repairs the rail crossing. (Okaloosa County)

CRESTVIEW, Fla., Oct. 21, 2021—Antioch Road will be closed for three days next week as roadwork is conducted on the railroad tracks.

A Florida, Gulf & Atlantic Railroad work crew will repave the rail crossing just north of Pioneer Road.

As a result, Antioch Road will be closed to traffic from Tuesday through Thursday.

Directional signs will be posted detouring motorists to James Lee and Ferdon boulevards during this time.

Northbound motorists on State Road 85 at P.J. Adams will be detoured north to Hwy 90. Southbound motorists traveling east or west on James Lee Boulevard will be directed to Ferdon Boulevard.
