
HOLT, Fla., Jan. 21, 2022—The National Weather Service expanded its winter weather advisory to include Okaloosa County this morning.
Light freezing rain is possible with some icing on roadways until around noon today. Icy patches could develop on bridges and overpasses.

Temperatures should warm to above freezing by midday, changing freezing rain to just light rain.
Should temperatures remain colder than forecast, light freezing rain could persist into the afternoon and the advisory will be extended, according to the NWS.
Temperatures tonight should remain above freezing until after rains end so no icing is forecast for tonight.
Highs look to be in the high 30s today with a low of 33 tonight.

Expect a hard freeze tomorrow night as temperatures plummet to a low of 26. Sunday’s night is expected to be 27 degrees.
