
HOLT, Fla., Feb. 13, 2023—A line of severe storms are expected to push through the northwest Florida panhandle Thursday.
A squall line is expected to sweep across the area Thursday afternoon and evening as a line of storms moves across the region.
The main threats will be gusty winds and a brief tornado, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile.
As a result, the entire Mobile forecast area is under a level 2 out of 5 risk zone for severe weather.
Behind the advancing cold front, temperatures will drop into the 30s Friday and Saturday nights with sunny skies through the weekend. President’s Day is forecast to be partly sunny with a high of 74 degrees.
